I am doing research for my doctor's office to pass information to breast cancer patients. Where do you buy compression sleeves? How expensive are they?

Hugs,
Janelle

    Send them to a Lymphedemologist!
If someone NEEDS a day sleeve and glove and/or night sleeve due to lymphedema they need to see a Lymphedemoligist to get the right compression and FIT. One 'size' does not fit all! I'm on my 3rd different combo and still not right and have been working with a certified Lymphedemologist for most of the last year. Once you know what is right for you, you can order but FIRST must know what is needed AND right for you.

    ON THE WEB
I have been wearing my sleeve and glove for close to 9 years now, I used to get them from a specialist but now I have learned how to measure them so I purchase mine online where it is a bit less expensive. Here is the site I have used for the past 5 years.

    LYMPHEDEMA SLEEVES

    Hope this helps,

    I got mine
from a place that specializes in supplies for cancer paitents. It was recommeded by the PT that I saw for my lymphedema. The one I got was $120 but my insurance paid most of it. My PT said that after the first one that I was fitted for I could just order them on-line. I have looked and they are between $50 & $100 depending on the style and color you want.

    A seedy little shop with...
funky brassieres and fake breasts. It's sort of like a Frederick's of Cancer. Please don't tell my mom I'm frequenting such disreputable places.

Nah, my lady measured me and I got two sleeves and one glove. Googling "lymphedema supplies" will provide you with a plethora of options and prices. I'm still pondering a tie dyed sleeve for Arbor Day should I want to get my tree hugging self on.

    Happy shopping!
