Vacation Needed?

For the last 18 months beginning with the positive biopsy in Jan 09 I have been occupied with cancer it seems every day. This is Memorial Day weekend. I a going to see if I can just hang this cancer stuff up for the next 3 or 4 days and forget it. Not easy with the leakage and hormone effect that are constant reminders of what is going on inside of me, but I am just getting sick of cancer and the way it has impacted my life.

So I am going to quit cancer, maybe until Wednesday when I get into the next phase of treatment at the Continency Center. Sunday I will attend a Civil War reenactors rally in Coldwater, MI and between now and then, I'll pad up and try a Memorial Service somewhere.

So everyone, I hope this Memorial Day weekend is inspiring and renewing for you.

I am officially "Quit Cancer" until Tuesday but probably Wednesday.

I do hate PC. When it is dead and buried I will not be interested in any memorial service for it.

    Enjoy the vacation, and keep it going
    Try to find something nice that you can do.........take a little vacation every day....watch a movie........play a musical instrument.......socialize with upbeat people........do volunteer work....etc, etc........that's what I do...I also have spinal stenosis, and I experience pain a good part of the time......Ira

    Vacatio is over. Now down to the serious stuff at hand- dealing and finding a remedy for the after effects of what cancer did to me.

    I hate cancer! Good to be back from vacation! :D

    i hate it to, no funeral for me to go to when it dies. yes i know what you mean you think all day and night about it. you get tired of it, so a vacation sounds nice i hope yours was good.
