No radiation yipee

We got a call from the Radiology Oncologist and she said she presented my case and pathology slides to the the tumor board. There recommendation was no radiation. The tumor was too high and the stuff that was removed more than took care of what was out there. Oh happy day!

Now just 5 more folfox treatments to go. I also will have my first CEA level drawn on Wednesday, I am thinking it will be just fine! (although I am having fun with a bit of test anxiety, but you all know about that-right?)

    Sorry your post fell below - we missed it - I got the "little one" a few days ago and he turned the apple cart upside down, LOL :)

    Hey, that's really good news to hear - soo happy for you - I did not want that for you at all!

    Wow, you got the magic hall pass and were spared - go buy a lottery ticket right away!

    Anytime you get the news of no radiation is a GREAT day! Congratulations on the good news. Go celebrate and enjoy this victory.

    Great news! Test anxiety is normal. But I am sure you have nothing to worry about.

    Craig, My puppy is now 10 months old. I am still waiting for my "break" from puppyhood!

    Little ones take time
    Puppies are a wonderful addition but they do take time! We talked about getting a puppy but I was concerned I could not take care of it when I have chemo, so we will get one after we are done. Tomorrow is treatment #8 (I goofed and thought we were doing #7, so it was a double good day) and so we are counting down until it is over!

    Radiation as easy as it is to get sure does produce a lot of latter problems...Congrats for the nix on it.....Love and Hope, Buzz
