my last post
My last post bothered me- it didn't come out right. I said I was looking forward to more of you joining me after cancer world. But you never really leave cancer world. What you do leave is the treatments, the fatigue, the pain, the constant doctor visits. What you get to do is heal in so many ways- for me the fear and anxiety has quieted down and there are longer and longer periods of thinking of other things and appreciating the gift of everyday- I don't know what "survivor" means- I just know that each day is a gift, I'm stronger and happy and one year ago I completed treatment after a very very difficult time withUPSC. I didn't leave cancer world- I can't know if I ever will - what I wanted my post to reflect is that so many of you are going through this journey and I look forward to continuing the conversation as you get through the treatment days.

PS- Marge, love your hair. Mine looked like that but when it got longer I dyed it. I often wish I had kept it short and grey- I looked cool.0 -

Doc says everything looks great, no lumps, bumps or anything unusual. My CAT125 will be a few days before getting the results and the pap will be about 2 to 3 weeks. She wanted to send me back to my regular ob/gyn but I told her absolutely not. I'd go back to the group but not that doctor. If you remember, he told me it wasn't an OB/GYN problem. Well, she said I can come back and see her.
Feel great and not worrying and besides I'm heading for Texas on the 8th to go see my grandsons. Life can't get any better than that!

Congrats Marge - sounds like great news. Enjoy your family.
Re: "survivor". I'm focusing on being more than a survivor - I'm going for "thriver" and playing that role most days. We can enjoy so much life, even with the C-word.
Love and prayers to all,
