Biopsy results are back
Got off the plane this morning to find a voice mail from ommmy Onco's office to call them for results. The biopsy does show that the lymph node contains UPSC. Not sure what next steps are other than meeting with the ONCO on Friday to discuss what next steps may be.
ACK!!! Damn cancer...

OH Cindy! So sorry to hear
OH Cindy! So sorry to hear this. Please let us know what the plan of attack is going to be. And, as you know... come back here for support, love and a place to vent if needed.
Love and Hugs,
Cindi

Damn, damn, damn! I was really hoping there was another reason for that enlarged lymph node, Cindy. At least you're getting in soon to your oncologist to discuss what might be next. So sorry to hear this.
Chris - I just read your update and am in awe! I am very interested in your treatment. How did you find out about this and can you point me to studies and other such information that you looked at? I looked at the website for both Herzog and Hallwang but they don't have a lot of evidence or science based information. If you don't mind sharing a bit and feel up to doing so I'd love to look into this more myself.

Cindy
So sorry to hear this! If you want to look before Chris gets back to you both she and Helen (daylady) are both doing that in Germany. If you put herzog into the search it will pull up several threads and I think you will get more info there.
Sending Love and Prayers and as always (((HUGS)))0 -
So sorry to hear this
Cindy, so so sorry. How crummy! Was hoping you'd find out there was another explanation for the lymph node. I'm having a lymph node biopsied this Friday so I'm right there with you. A lot to process! Hope you're able to get pointed in some hopeful directions for treatment. Will be thinking about you, sending love and healing vibes.

almost all the material and links I used are in my home computer and inaccessible to me here. You might try sending an email through this site to daylady. She may be able to provide you with more info more quickly than I can. If you don't hear from her, I can certainly forward material to you when I get back.
