Biopsy
Hi guys,
Just a really quick update.
My mums had her biopsy. The positive thing is that after doing the biopsy, the surgeon thinks that the nodule is OK, he's written that in his notes apparently. The surgeon she saw 3 weeks ago looked at it (somehow) and thought it was probably scar tissue and the oncologist she saw 6 weeks ago also thinks this.
The only negative is that she had to have stitches and she's in an incredible amount of pain + we have to wait 3 WEEKS for the results, so despite the positive surgeon's note, we still have to sit around waiting for any actual confirmation. Coupled with the fact that our dog has cancer (lymphoma) which is depressing, the weathers pretty grey and horrible and my mum, did I mention she was in pain? Well she's really down right now due to all of those things.
Hope everyone's doing well,
Adam

Hi Adam
I decided to check in here this morning and was glad to see your post and learn that your mom's biopsy procedure went well, but I'm sorry she is in pain. I hope the doctors' assessment that this was just scar tissue will be confirmed by the biopsy. Sending good thoughts and prayers!

So far so good (except the pain). The waiting is hard, but I hope that now that the weather is improving, it may lift the spirit. Easier said than done, but once the pain is sorted, a few excursions should help.

Thank you guys, it's such a long wait, 1 week down and another 2 to go! We're almost exactly a year away from my mum's initial diagnosis and not a thing's changed - still sitting in the living room, on our iPads, too anxious to do anything!
I'm praying for the 8.5 months NED which will hopefully be arriving in 2 weeks. May even be sunny here then as well!
