    I'm sorry that things are still a bit out of control for you guys. Man when will you get a break?! I'm praying that David will get some nutrition and strength and that his numbers will start looking better.
    Don't think twice about what you call "whining" because we are here for you to do it all you want. We've all been there and we don't judge.
    As far as the mucous goes, I hate to say it but it will most likely get worse before it gets better. It's just something he will have to muscle thru. Warm water with lemon or a warm tea helped me a bit with it. Maybe it's something you can try.
    Try and get David up walking like you mentioned you did last week. Even if it's down to the end of the driveway and back.
    It's amazing what even the littlest bit of exercise will do for him. I know I fought it tooth and nail but always felt better after my husband made me do it.
    Praying for a much better day for you both.

    Difficulties
    Praying for you. It is tough. I drank Wheat grass juice when I was going through this...still do. One ounce of the juice has the vitamins and minerals of like 10 pounds of green vegetables. Sometimes I would get lazy and not go to the health food store to get it... When I missed taking the juice, my blood work was not as good. I felt better when I drank it. The juice upsets some peoples stomach, but mine was fine as long as I had food or Ensure in my stomach....just an idea. Even now that I am 8 months out if I stop and get the juice in the morning I am not near as tired in the afternoon versus when I do not go. Just a thought. I am so sorry you are having such a hard time. Ann

    protocols
    @luvofmylif:
    technically speaking...I had final chemo infusion after radiation had already ended, and that was planned. it was three days later, I believe.
    so yeah, it depends on the protocol.

    Oh, ok I see what you mean.
    Oh, ok I see what you mean. there are different protocols . This is all kind of confusing really. Our protocol was a little different..radiation to one side of neck only and chemo x 3 during the radiation because we have surgery first and nodes were positive on the right but proven negative on the left. He also had BOT extensive surgery.
