Update on my scans

in Breast Cancer #1
Good morning fellow warriors:) I'm pretty sad that I couldn't come back with better news :-(
The echo of my heart was ok:-)
My pet scan showed the cancer is multiplying all over my bones :-(
From there they wanted an MRI of my brain. . Not so good there either, and now I'm really really really scared.
The scan showed one tumor in the right superior temporal, whatever that is, all I heard was "mets to your brain"
I don't know where to go from here, I'm just sick over it all. I see my palliative care doc tomorrow to set up some hard stuff :(
I see a radiologist Wednesday
MRI on my middle section November 6th.
Holding up the best I can, without all of you I'd fall,to pieces.

    Kari, I am so so sorry you did not get better news. I wish I had some major words of wisdom for you, but I do not. I can only say I pray for you and hopefully your team of Doc's can get you stabilized!! {{{Hugs}}}

    Oh Kari,
    My heart hurts for your dear sister. Even though the results aren't what you wanted to hear, try not to let them get you down. I know this is easier said than done. However, you have been such a positive and inspirational person in the past.

    It's hard to even find the words to say how very sorry I am Kari. I can't imagine how you feel. Thank you for updating us and keep it up please! Post to let us know about any new tests and what your doctor says. We love you and are very worried about you.

    This is certainly not what any of us would want to hear. I was just re-diagnosed at Stage 4 in January with bone mets. I have another PET coming up and, I gotta be honest, I'm really afraid to have it.

    I know there are a couple of gals here who have had treatment of their brain mets with good results. I'm sure they will chime in.

    I can't give you any advice--just listen and be here for you always. I think it goes back to when we were all first diagnosed--one step at a time, one day at a time, one treatment at a time and savor all the good days with gusto.

    Oh Kari I am so very sorry to hear this news! I wish I could turn the clock back and restore your health shoot restore all of our health, if on!!! My heart aches for you, I am lifting you in prayer and sending as many positive thoughts to you as I can muster! You are such a fighter, such a source of hope!     While I can not begin to understand what you are feeling please know that I am crushed by your latest results. I'm sorry the treatments are not working and the cancer has spread. You are in my prayers. I wish I could give you a hug and tell you we are all here for you when you need us. All I want to say is the line from the movie "The Help".     Dear Kari, this was the news we all hate to hear about any of our sisters. Can I ask if you have some close relative or friend there with you? What state do you call home? Its my hope that we cyber sisters can rely on a physical person there to help in our absence! If you are close by to any of us, we can remedy that. I think the immediate need would be rides and help after the appointments? Do you have this? Do you have some there to lean on?

    We are here the best that we can be for you. You are close in our hearts and in our prayers as you face this new turn in the road. Strength...PEACE...hope moment by moment. Please post as to what we can especially pray for ok?
