Dropping in to say hello. I'm still kicking.
Hello, I havent been on the boards in quite a while but you're never all far from my mind. I send thoughts into the universe to get my Board friends back to health. To everyone fighting, dont stop. You can do this! One day at a time.
I'm six years out and still struggling with ostomy issues but I just suck it up buttercup and keep it moving. My problems are not real problems in the bigger scheme of life. Otherwise I'm managing daily living to the best of my ability.

Update
It's so good to see your post, and I'm glad that you are managing well. Even though my ostomy was reversed, I'm having troubles with the reveral so, like you said, we just deal with it.
Six years is a long time, so congratulations.
Wishing you well in the future, and look forward to you coming back again for another update.

Thanks Kim. It's great to see you! I love your avatar. I get anxiety coming on the boards so I avoid them but every once in a while, I pop on to check on people. I really need to get real names so I can Facebook some folks. I have a few on my Facebook already.

It is good to see you pop in and say hello.
It is also good to hear that you are moving forward, even with those pesky life change that Cancer brought with it.
May you see many more happy years ahead.

I'm not sure where you are in your progress, but eat as good as you can, treat yourself well and do meditation. Anything you can to help yourself. That's the best you can do. I went all organic, no bbq, no sugar, no dairy. I did my chemo and radiation without skipping, I did the surgeries. And I was simply somehow lucky to have survived. There is no rhyme or reason to this disease. One thing I will never do again, is give death my power. I've embraced it. It's okay. It took me a long time to realize that. I was so sick with anxiety for years. Now I'm at peace with the idea that my life here will end one day. I want to enjoy each day I'm given. I hope you are doing well with your treatment. Keep your head up, one foot in front of the other, there is another side!!!! I want to see you on it.
