Why don't more people use the chatroom?
I used to be on this site daily for quite sometime and then have been away for a year or two and back and forth now. One thing that seems to still be the same is lack of use of the chatroom during the days, not sure about nighttime as I am not on at night.
The discussion boards are great for discussing key issues and for reference but don't discount the use of chatrooms for instant responses from many survivors who have been there and are ready to lend an informed view of how to cope and how to proceed if you have a question. There are so many wonderful survivors online that would love to help so drop into the chatroom now and then, don't give up if no one is there immediately - stick around for a few minutes if time allows and wait a bit. I don't know if chatrooms online have a bad reputation or not but this chatroom is frequently by chat staff and clear out any chatters who are there to make trouble so do give this chatroom a try. You might meet up with a survivor who can help in a very immediate and timely way. It's always great to have instant access to someone who has 'been there' and learned from it.
All the best and see you in the chatroom.
Blessings
