My brother's CT results
2 new pulmonary nodules left lung which may represent progression of metastic disease. There is a 3mm subpleural nodule right lower lobe which is overall stable in size but slightly increased in solid appearance compared with prior study. The other nodules are stable. I believe he has 7 nodules now that are spread out in both lungs. The liver scan was limited so he will have an MRI on Monday. His doctor is on vacation this week, so I didn't get a chance to discuss the results. I had to bring him to his internist because he had black and blues on his leg that needed to be checked (he is on Xarelto). Let's see what the MRI shows. I have a feeling they're going to have to up his chemo again. We'll see what the dr says.
Those are the main points of the scan, I didn't want to type the whole results, but this is the gist of the results as i understand it.
Any ideas?

This disease sure tries to teach us patience. I'm sorry for the wait. I am not a very patient person. I hope you get results and plans soon.
Yes, we all have to have patience during this journey. The waiting can be excruciating. I'm glad the nurse printed the results so we at least have a mild understanding of what is going on. I'm not sure how my brother will feel about upping his meds because his quality of life sucked when it was full strength. It has to be his decision, though.
Thanks.

There are no easy decisions with this disease.
Perhaps they can up the meds just a bit and gain some foothold against the cancer while still allowing him a good quality of life.
Thoughts and prayers for you and your family.

You're right, there are no easy decisions with this disease. Hopefully they came up with a treatment plan that will give him a quality of life, yet keeps the cancer at bay.

That's very sweet of you to say. If you knew my brother, you'd know why I adore him. He is a sweetheart. I think we need to help our families and friends as much as we can. Life is too short, we need to live it right and do the right thing.
