Update on Friend's Husband
Hi all:
Been to Chatt. for best friends' and hubby' house warming and blessing over the weekend. It was wonderful. But the best news is Steve's CT of chest, abdomen and pelvis showed no changes and even better the MRI of his head showed the lesions on brain had shrunk and they have released him for 3 months. Praise the Lord! He's really tired right now and has started some physical therapy to help get his strength back but in great spirits; appetite has fallen off a little but is eating; just some things just don't taste good rite now to him. They're leaving for Hilton Head in the 17th for a week with their older son and family and on that side; the older son and wife had been fostering a baby girl since she came home from the hospital last year when she was born and she is now officially theirs. Her adoption was final last Friday. She has done so well being with them as her situation she was born addicted to prescription drugs her mother took and went thru quite a lot getting off of them. But she is doing well now and such a lucky little girl to have the parents and big brother she has now! Hope all is well with everyone. God Bless! ANd thanks for all the prayers and keep them coming for Steve and Beki!
