6 Months since dad's surgery!

6 months ago today, dad was in surgery. The ugly beast was removed and although there was setbacks, he is doing incredible. I know there is so many people that are suffering and at different stages but I am hoping sharing good news and hope will help.

He is back to being a "husband for hire" in the community where he lives (until the end of May where they are heading out on their motor home to travel the country...)

Thank you to my new family on here. I am not sure how I would have handled so much without everyone's support.

God Bless,

    Great to hear from you
    Beth,

It is great to hear that things are going well for your Dad. Once you get past the first year things get much better. It sounds like your Dad is well ahead of schedule on recovery.

    Great News!!!

Gladdens my heart Beth to read how well your dad is doing. Sounds as if he's done brilliantly following his Ivor Lewis op. May he go from strength to strength. Best wishes.
