in Ovarian Cancer #1
AS many of you know, I was diagnosed with OVCA mets to the brain. Directly to the brain, with no stops in between (my oncologist and my gyn/onc were both stunned by this because even my CA125 went up, unusual for brain mets apparently).

At any rate, after brain surgery, whole brain radiation and gamma knife....it's official

My lucky number is 13 and my head is completely empty!

I'm sorry for my long absence from this board, I just was not in a good place this summer. Now I feel much much better and stronger!

    I have a lot of aches and pains that are more pronounced when I get into or out of a car or stand up from sitting so I often ask jokingly, "where's the oil can?" I feel like the tin man. Your talk of being empty headed reminds me of the scarecrow. "If I only had a brain." But of course you do and I wish you continued health.
