When I blog it's flagged "Edit"

When I reply to a couple of blogs, says "edit" at the bottom. Can anyone explain why that is the case? I am getting paranoid here!

    If you want to do a short test blog on your page, I'll be glad to reply to it, and see if I also see the "Edit." It probably just means that you can edit your own posts if you want to, just like here on the board.

    Thanks, somehow the "edit" disappeared, I think I did something wrong, I was getting quite paranoid!
