Well, kind of gambling... Ipepebcn said:Is every body going to gamble this weekend? LOL .
Man you live like a Marquis ! LOL.
Enjoy it!
Well, kind of gambling... I planning to win the NH Mega Millions lottery tomorrow - it's up to $53 million and I just know that I have the winning ticket in my pocket! ;-) Then, on Monday, I'm going to buy a large beautiful sailboat (with crew) and sail across to Barcelona. :-)
(I can dream, can't I??) :-)0 -
Last weekend, I met my son's future inlaws
in Spokane, WA. This weekend, I'll spend trying to recover from the cold I picked up from one of the gazillion kids on all of my flights going there and back....
School's out, so the planes were full of families traveling - probably 30-50 kids per flight, and we had 2 flights in each direction.
Spokane was lovely. The traveling (with ridiculous delays) was awful.0 -
Fun reading what everyone's
Fun reading what everyone's doing this weekend!
Tomorrow (Sat) night, we are going to two high school graduation parties. My son graduates on the 24th, but at 7 pm & so two parties (my son's best friend and my niece also go to the same charter high school)are happening this weekend before their actual graduation. I think all the other high schools in the area have already graduated, so our school is one of the last ones. Sunday is father's day- not sure what we are doing yet. My husband and I both have lost our dads, so this one will be whatever my husband wants to do.
Unfortunately, I have not been feeling well at all. It was hard to get through my younger daughter's elementary school graduation yesterday, as I felt nauseated and sick to my stomach the whole time (had to run to the bathroom 4 times while at the restaurant- kind of embarrasing too). It's now almost 4 pm on Friday & I spent most of my day lying in bed in pain. The darn rectal tumor is doing a number on me. I still haven't spoken to the colorectal surgeon. The nurse called yesterday saying she would call me today at the end of her workday- so I'm hoping I actually will still get a call from her.
Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow night for these graduation parties and on Sunday, Father's Day.
Have a blessed weekend, everyone- hopefully most of you are able to enjoy good weather. It was cool and cloudy here until just about 2 hrs ago. Now it's nice & I'm feeling better, so I think I'll venture out in my yard and putter around with the flowers. One hanging flower basket fell and broke & I need to replant the ivy geraniums in it into another hanging basket I have.
Hugs to all!

Hope you continue to feel better. I'm always jealous of people who live in wonderful climates. I have a niece in San Diego whom I still haven't visited since she moved there. Can't wait to do that. California puts me in a good mood!!!!!0 -
