Bob's Scan Result's...

in Head and Neck Cancer #1
Well all is good clean Scan except the Lung...they are not worried about it another Scan in 6 month's..they Biopsied Bob before and they say it is the Mississippi Spore/Fungus anyone else heard of this?? Both his ENT and ONCO Dr told him about this Spore/Fungus and asked him if he was near the Mississippi and our Cabin is there..breathing a sigh of relief waiting for these Scan results is so scarry and stressful...but many have had good Scans...isn't it wonderful...hoping to hear of many more having clean/clear Scans!

    Glad to hear the good news on Bob, I never heard of the Mississippi Spore/Fungus but I am looking into it.

    I did some research on this today and the things I read I did not like one bit....I may have to question the Dr's about this and the lack of concern for my own peace of mind...Bob did say he has a risk of getting Phuemonia...which was stated in one or 2 of the articals I read..but long term it seems it NEEDS to be addressed...I guess you can't believe everything on the Internet..but I will not allow my Husband to get any sickness/disease that may need attention NOW or in the near future...when he had his last Biopsy Bob asked the Surgeon where can I get books about this...his answer was why?? Just keep on living and don't worry about it...they have noit gotten any larger and he will get another PET in 6 month's...once "C" eneters your life every ache, pain, etc..get's you thinking...at least in this house it does, as we were blindsided when he was diagnosed...as most everyone has/was...so many Dr's Dentist's Specialist's said Sinus Infection, TMJ...Cancer never ever crossed our minds...because we thought it would have shown up in bloodwork..but the Beast is gone that is what matters..and we must move on...even if we are paranoid...but we won't let it consume our lives we must live ach day to the fullest. You have been such a great help..all that you have been thru. I want to thank you for all that you have done for everyone here especially US...Thanks..also Thn aks to everyone else...may all have a Blessed Easter and keep all the good Scans comming I think we are on a roll here:)
