Doc's are still stumped....

My doc called today to give me my results on all my tests. From the whole skin cancer scare... they still dont know whats wrong with me...thats a funny statements...cuz i can give them a list if they want a starting point...lol! She said most of my tests came back normal except my WBC is way below normal and im about 11 months out of chemo. They think that is still chemo related. Also my rhymatoid (not sure if spelled right...but probably not) is way off and basically they think i have an autoimmune disease going on... not sure what all that means but she basically said my immune system is attacking my own body and that they are sending me to an immune system specialist. Man first my boobs try to kill me now my body is tryin to get rid of me...this brings a whole new meaning of fighting yourself!

    It seems if there is something new and previously unheard of you find it! Or it finds you!! Hope your docs find out soon the cause and how to eradicate whatever it is. You're due for a break. :}

    It can be very frustrating when drs aren't sure what's is going on. I have osteoarthritis and last week my rhematologist sent me for blood work - 13 vials of it! The phlebotomist had to get it from both hands and my arm. Hope you get some answers soon. Hang in there!

    I also am sorry you are going through this.You should be frustrated.

    hope you get some answers soon. I think that not knowing is the hardest thing to deal with. At least if you have answers you can make a plan. My thoughts are with you.

    Maybe it is Sarcoidosis. The classic presentation of it is red irritated rash on the lower leg. My Sarcoid did not present that way, but some do. At least they are trying to find the answer. My thoughts are with you.

    Here you are going on trips and living your life with
    a low blood count like that. It's that fiery spirit of yours.
    You will get through this too, and don't forget we are
    all here to lift your sprits when needed or hold your hand.

    I know it's frustrating when you don't know, WHAT is going.
    It's easier when you have a game plane. Hope they will get
    to the bottom off all this soon.

    And hope everything will turn out fine, I think it could probably be chemo still trying to get out of your system,does anyone know how long it takes this mess to get out? I finished the last week in January 2011 and boy the neuropathy kicked in I have a prescription of Lyrica but i don't take it i didn't like the side effects I mean we're all been through to much with the devil a.k.a.(chemo)i seem to have more problems with it on rainy days. JoJo hang in there you are so positive for all of us. MOLLYZ

    Update....
    Im still waiting...my doctors are all talking together and they are setting me up with an immune doctor and explaining my situation with him, so when i walk in there i really dont have to do anything but donate my blood and whatever other tests they want to do.
