I'm sicker then a dog.................can I take Nyquil?

I can't breathe through my nose, the worst sore throat ever and I can't quit coughing. I'm miserable. Can I take Nyquil while on Tamoxifen?

    I think you can. Read Tamoxifen description which was given to you with medication in pharmacy. Please call your pharmacy tomorrow. If you do not fell better call your oncologist for advice on Monday.

    My Onc. has given me all
    My Onc. has given me all sorts of antibiotics and sleep aides with my Tamox. , so I don't think it will hurt you. But call and ask tomorrow.

    Be careful Nyquil has some
    Be careful Nyquil has some heavy duty stuff in it, i wonder why its not prescription. I woulnt add it with other meds until i had the ok from the doc and the pharmacy, and then i still prob wouldnt.

    I am not on tamox, but, you
    I am not on tamox, but, you should probably call your oncologist to check. Is there a 24 hour hotline you can call? Hope you feel better!
