I met one of my buddy's Gail & we spoke with Lisa

My daughter and I had the great pleasure of meeting Gail and her daughter today. We had lunch together, then chatted for awhile in Gail's lovely home. It felt like home to me, as we sat side by side on her comfortable couch. We laughed so hard because our stomachs were making the loudest noises after eating lunch. I had just started taking digestive enzymes and they were working! We also called Lisa and had a great talk for close to an hour. Gail and I plan to visit Lisa in the month of February. We can't wait! Here's to many more visits!

    I think this is awesome! How far apart do all of you live? I may have to see if we can arrange a southern ontario get together - mags, Tina + I; anyone else?

    It was great!
    Yes, I loved our visit! It was so great to meet and be able to see each other when we talked and laughed. We are so lucky to live so close, about an hour an a half. It felt like a long time friend that I was catching up with. And then to have Lisa on the phone too, it just felt so at home, like Raquel said. Like 3 friends talking and visiting and laughing. Raquel, thank your for your talk on healthy eating and supplements. There is so much to research and learn and sometimes I just feel lost with what to do. Because, at least for me, it's what my body can tolerate and digest effectively because of the surgeries and chemo side effects. I seem to be eating the exact opposite of how I ate pre cancer (which used to be whole grains, veges, fruits,etc...) and I bet my cancer likes it. .....ok straying.....Lisa I can't wait to meet you!

    Som happy you got to meet face to face! A bit of irony here, I finally get to meet one of my fellow CSN members next month but I am traveling thousand of miles and another continent to do so!

    Now you've got me curious... who are you going to meet up with on another continent, if you don't mind me asking? The people who come to my mind right away who live far away are Sonia in England, Pepe in Spain, Tara in Hong Kong, and Ron in Australia... any of those?
    (sorry to those of you whom I forgot who live outside North America)

    I live in southern California (Orange County) and would love to meet you when you come. Lisa and I met for lunch a few months back and I really enjoyed meeting with her face to face. We live about an hour apart so we met about halfway for lunch. You are all welcome to come to my house...I would love it!

    You will all hear the details from both Sonia and I when I get back to the states! I recently put skype mobile on my phone so that before I leave the US, I can call her to firm up plans to meet in London. I have never heard her voice and this is exciting too!
