Hi Everybody, It’s now 1:33pm Monday afternoon and I’m happy to tell you that I’m home safe and sound. I got home about 5pm yesterday from a 12 day stay at the wonderful Salem Hospital here in Oregon. I’m going to try to put somewhat of a story together before the pain pills kick in and nothing makes since to any of us. I first went in to the ER on Wednesday the 10th after many hours of “ hurts so bad… bend a person in half” pain and the life threatening threats of my wife at about 12am. I don’t remember much of that first night except that the NG tube went in easier this time. The next day or two where also spent much in the same fog. I do remembering talking to my surgeon and him going in to remove the scare tissue left from my Cancer removal and ostomy placement, then removal. And from what ever damage the Radiation and chemo. That surgery was on Sunday and it took almost 6 hs. Three hrs longer then what they thought it would take.
As of today I think I’m doing better. Just a bit upset knowing how long it’s going to take to recover to where I start to be my old self again but I’ll be okay. I also want to thank Crag for passing the word to everybody. Thanks for all the thoughts my way. And most od all.. Thank Gad for PAIN MEDS!!!
I’ll try to get on some more tomorrow. I hope this makes since!!
