My Rad Onc made my day

OK, so every Wed during radiation, I see my doc. He pulls up my name on his computer, and there are 7 other women in the system with my name. He picks one with a 1955 birthday, looks, then asks me for my birth date. When I told him (1947), he says "wow! you sure look young; I didn't think that the '47 was you" I pretended I didn't hear him, so he had to repeat himself.
Needless-to-say, I walked out of radiation with bouncy steps.

I loved my rads oncologist too, but, he never said that to me. LOL

Wow
What an awesome thing to hear at a time when we're not really feeling our best, especially since it was so obviously sincere. Enjoy the compliment, you deserve it.
