I Can't Believe my Good luck
Sleep on that and be happy!
No need to tell you what Mrs. Trew said. Sometimes reality slips from her grasp.

I sure hope that I can have some of your humor by the time I get done with surgery (8/11/10)and get on the road to recovery. I have also been following your pad diary on here so I know of your struggles. You are amazing and cope well. Keep up the good work.

There were a few times 3 or 4 of us would be sitting in the radiation waiting room having a real good laugh or two. We all understood what were facing and what the side effects of rad were. Sometimes there is nothing else to do except turn away from the grim and make lite of reality.
A fellow backpacker who died almost 2 years ago use ot push the slogan, "replace reality with a good fanatsy." Well, I don't really agree with that, but mirth tastes better than gull.
But belief me, I have my gulling moments. This leaking is pushing me to my limits. I am about washed out.0 -

Just checking in and noting your continued ability to find the humor in the situation. I am so sorry for all that you are going through. I hope that you can get to the AUS surgery ASAP and end the misery. My best to you and the Mrs. In my prayers, Maria0 -

when do you have your first blodd test after surgery to see if antthing shows up? thanks griff
My PSA continues to be .01 for the last 4 tests. Next PSA draw comes in mid-July. I think it's the potato chips. And Vernors, especially Vernors ice Cream floats- Wow!! and I have had a serious talk with this PC thingie. I have said to it, this PC thingie, "Look, you have been blasted with Radiation, and hormone shots and before that surgery. And that is just the beginning- show up again and I'll get the big guns out!!"
So far its working- the power of self-talk!
Of course, what PC has said to me is insignifcant, hardly worth telling here since you all have heard it yourself from the same source- just like me. What really got me ticked off with this PC thingie is how it got Mrs. Trew all upset. I do not like watching my wife cry. No wonder, then, I"m hitting it hard and I'm hold some big guns in reserve, just in case....0 -

I THINK THEY USUALLY WAIT ABOUT 6 WEEKS OR SO BEFORE DOING A PSA TEST. IT SEEMS THE BLOOD NEEDS A LITTLE TIME TO RID ITSELF OF PSA ONCE THE PROSTATE IS REMOVED. I WOULDN'T WORRY TOO MUCH ABOUT IT. JUST CONCENTRATE ON YOUR RECOVERY AND YOU'LL BE FINE !!0
