I'm finished with rads today!

Today was my last radiation treatment and I'm soooo happy! My mammogram is scheduled for Sept. I meet with my oncologist next week. Are there any specific questions I should be asking him? I can't think straight right now so I'm not sure what to ask. Maybe by next week I'll be able to have my thoughts together so I can make sure I'm on track for my progress. I'm ready to dance with NED or NERT. Just waiting for the words from the oncologist. I'm so thankful for all of the strong women on this board that have been an inspiration for me. Hugs to all of you!

    Congratulations and welcome to the Rads Grads Club. Isn't it just the club you wanted to join? I know I was thrilled to finally become a member. Good luck and continue to use your creams and rest up for your dance with NED/NERT.

    Congratulations on becoming a Rads Grad!

    Just continue to take it easy, get plenty of rest and water, and of course keep slathering on the lotion. I finished a week ago, and am still pretty pink where the boosters were. The rest is starting to heal pretty well, though.

    Hope you celebrate in the style you deserve!!!

    Thanks Cindy for letting us know...
    that relief is just a week away! Congrats and lots of gentle cyber hugs! I'm right there with you! I went to see my onc. today and she wants me to start on arimidex on June 1st and then have a mammogram on June 28th, followed by a cat scan in August. That will be a year since I had both. Let me know what your onc says to do.
