Well, the vacation is over, but we both came back refreshed and ready to start fresh in battling both bc and tardive dyskinesia. We went to Ruidoso, NM, in the mountains, and temps there were in the high 40's at night and mid 70's during the day....and no humidity. What a relief from this East Texas heat at above 100 for several weeks in a row, with 95% humidity. We were able to visit friends, and just enjoy the outdoors. Walking the mountains was a big part of our two weeks, as well as just breathing the fresh, cool air. I recommend this kind of break to everyone. It kind of rejuvenates your mind and body, and let's you get away from the everyday fears that are constantly with most of us. Thank you for all of the "sendoffs" before we left. Glad to be back, and will probably spend the next few days catching up on all of the posts. Hope everyone is well, and that I haven't missed too much. Hugs to all.

    It sounds like your vacation was just what you needed. Walking in the mountains breathing the fresh air, i so rejuvenating. I try to take a small break a few times a week and take my dog for a run in the badlands. Something about being out in nature feeds my spirituality and refreshes my spirit as well.

    I am glad you are back and look forward to your posts. We missed you!

    No humidity sounds like a wonderful idea even though we're two states north of your particular blast furnace. And I will bet that the mountains were beautiful, too. Glad you're back here, too!

Thanks for the recommendation: I would love to visit NM and the mountains. Right now, the Ozarks is incredibly humid, making mountain air sound especially refreshing. Wish I were Jeanie and could blink myself there. (Where are you, Jeanie?)

    It is so nice to see your sweet face back on the boards! It sounds that your vacation was lovely! And you absolutely deserved to have a grand time with family and friends! Doing battle with the beast has its own priorities, but being rejuvenated is even more important,isn't it???
