niece's sarcoma shrinking no chemo for 3 months
hi, my 9 yr. old niece has sarcoma. started in her thigh then moved to her lungs and brain and possibly her back. she has had chemo but is not currently on it because of recent diagnosis. she has had sarcoma removed from her thigh and one from her brain. too many in her lungs to surgically remove and now there are 2 more in her brain. 1 of them is inoperable. found out about 1 1/2 months ago. dr's gave her 2-6 days then. she had a xray or something a few weeks ago and they checked on the ones in her brain. they grew larger. now she had another one done and they are shrinking. is this any reason to get hopes up?
