Teeing it up for Ta Ta's Golf Tournament

I was in a golf tournament yesterday which raised money for local breast cancer organizations==one of the organizations is PIPS(Pretty In Pink Survivors). I golfed with a bunch of wonderful ladies and had a fantastic time.

The prize for a Hole in One was a set of dentures--no one got a hole in one--if I had I don't know who I would have given the certificate to since no one in my family wears dentures.

I did get two gift certificates--one to the golf course that we played at and one to Sam's Italian restaurant for a pizza.

My sister, Martha, came and helped out and was the water girl on the course--she rode around with a cooler and lots of ice which came in handy.

It was a very hot & humid day here in Maine.

Just wanted to let everyone know what I did yesterday.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I can't imagine a hole-in-one prize being a set of dentures :-) That's a riot... although I guess if someone needed new teeth it would be a great prize. Personally I would rather have won your free pizza.

Dentures?
That's a first for me. Usually the tornaments around here have a brand new car sitting on the toughest hole (almost impossible to get). It's more for advertising. I think in all of the history of the course, it was obtained 1 time.
Whenever hubby plays in tornaments, I'm always excited to see what he won!! Glad you were able to go and have fun and for a good cause!!

Did you ask if there was an experation on that certificate? you never know 30-40 years down the line something like that might come in handy! (kidding
