Hi All,
So good to be in touch with you again.
**** started feeling much better when he came off the meds. His surgery was on Tuesday and he didn't eat really anything until yesterday afternoon. The funny thing is he did not want any of the hospital food. He is going with what sounds good to him so he has had 1/4 a taco (last night), 1/2 bagel with lox and onions (this morning) and sushi (all cooked) tonight. We got back to my parents house this afternoon. He is so happy to be out of the hospital.
His digestive track is still sending through mostly watery stuff but the doctor said to expect that for the next 2 or 3 weeks.
Thank you so much for your support through the first part of his journey. You have been so valuable to us.
Aloha,
Kathleen

Happy Hugs all around!!

Hospital food! it wasn't very good where I was, so dry and bland, and the setting is so depressing, I couldn't even relax or sleep, because they come at you every hour so checking vitals, drawing blood, it's more stressful trying to recover in a hospital then a nice home setting!
I'm glad he's home and doing much better! our prayers are still with you both! Keep getting better!
Aloha (I envy that I'm not in Hawaii)!

walking
Hi,
**** and I walked 3/4 mile this morning. It is beautiful in So Cal so we are taking advantage of it. More bagels and lox this morning. He is just following his cravings and staying away from high fiber food. He knows he needs to take it slow but really wants to be strong physically, mentally and spiritually when he starts chemo in a few weeks. We see oncologist tomorrow. I am sure I will have many questions for you when we return from that appointment. Keeping you all in our prayers and thanking God for you.
Aloha,
