    Hello

I have been in remission for Adult stage IV Wilms for almost 2 years now. I was diagnosed at age 24. I hope your twins are doing well and that you are staying hopeful.

    Hello - I am 24 years old
Hello - I am 24 years old and I was diagnosed with stage 2 wilms tumor in 2007 and just beat it again last year (reoccurence). The first time around I didn't take the chemotherapy but this time around I did. I am cancer free and my doctor told me that he would be very surprised if it ever came back because Wilms is one of the most treatable diseases. One thing I will say is that I couldn't have done it without my heavenly father and the power he gave me of his spoken word, prayer, and faith. You can too have healing for your babies if you choose to believe in him.

61 year survivor of Wilms tumor
I had my left kidney removed when I was 8 months old.there was no staging then, but the tumor was the size of a man's fist and my kidney
Was about the size of a kidney bean. I received a series of radiation treatment and from what I understand the dosages were much higher than
    Those used today.
I am now 61 and a half years old.
I have a mild scoliosis. I am blessed with two healthy children and grandchildren. My children were delivered by C-section as my uterus didn't contract
Probably as the result to the radiation therapy.
I have lead and am still living a productive and healthy life.

It wasn't until I had children of my own that I even had an inkling of what my parents must have gone through.
You and your family will be in my thought and prayers.

    LT survivor of Wilm's
    Hello,
I was diagnosed with Wilm's in 1969 at the age of 6. Had left nephrectomy. Not sure of the stage but do know that it had started to matastisize to the lung. Spots in lungs went away while taking chemo and cobalt treatments. Feel free to contact me for questions. My prayers are with you and the twins.
