Well were back from the colon doctor some good news and some bad news good news is that she's willing to go in but the bad news is the tumor in the colon is also in his back but she said that jorge looks good looks like chemo has helped make the tumor in the liver smaller and the lunph node are smaller as well the tyumor in the colon is a bit smaller and she's hoping the next ct scan at the end of the month shows the colon got smaller cause if it did it better for her to get it all . So I woould like to thank eveyone thank you Tina

    I have been checking in frequently this afternoon, looking for your update. I am glad the doctor thinks she can get it, the liver tumour is smaller, colon tumour is smaller + lymph nodes are smaller. Hopefully the next scan will show even more shrinkage!

    Thank you for looking in on us .they are looking at march for the surgery . But what's gets me is the cancer in his fat in the back . Not sure if we should wait longer and stay on chemo .

    Tina...I think better in the fat than in the tissue.....
    Just my opinion but to me being in the fatty area would make it less complicated to remove and also make it less likely to do more damage to tissue...It sounds very promising to me Tina...Please tell Jorge that he is in our prayers as are you also....Love to you both, Clift

    Like you said, good and bad. I think it's sounding like more good than bad, though & the onc sounds like she's encouraged.

    You said he has cancer in his back, in the fat in his back. I've not heard of that or just not understanding. Jorge still has the tumor in his colon is the one in the fat part of the colon tumor or something separate? Sorry for so many questions, when I hear something new or that I don't understand I tend to ask questions.

    Now go celebrate your good news.

    It always seems like it's a mixed bag when it comes to news with this darn disease. It's definitely a roller coaster ride. I'm so glad to hear that there was some good news and that surgery is on the table for Jorge. Congratulations

    Tina the colon doctor said that the tumor in the colon has gone thru the colon wall and has gone to the fat in his back . She's hoping that the next ct scan will show that the tumor is smaller because if it is it will be easier to remove.

    Thank you guys so very much I want to be hopfully but man its hard. But I think she willing to go in there has to be hope then or she won't go in to start . Thank you guys again you guys are swesome hugs Tina
