It's been a little over two years since I was diagnosed, and two years since I got my period. it's been 18 months since my last chemo treatment. Woke up this morning, and DAMN!!! If I don't have it...I was really hoping it was all gone. For good. Was wondering if anyone knew if the CT scan I had last week could have anything to do with it? or does this just mean that things are going back to normal? Boy - If ya'all could have heard me scream!!!

Well can't help with that but my menopause was completed at age 47 and now I'm 52. I'm sure that it can happen though, but hear what you are saying that it would have been nice to have just ended with no more periods. Maybe after all you went through your body is just now starting to get back to normal - well a thought anyway. Guess you will have to keep those little supplies on hand again :(

    lol..
But...I'm 49! I had started menopause just before the dx. I thought for sure the chemo knocked me right all the way into it! shoot - the hot flashes over the past two years - I can't believe I am going to start all over again! need to do some research here....

    Hi!
I've heard similiar stories from the younger groups. Around about 1 year to 18 months too. I had a hysterectomy so I can't speak from experience though. Wasn't it great when it was gone??? :)
