Well Chris you couldn't have found a better site, the members here are INCREDIBLE. I only wish i would have found this site 2 1/2 years ago when first dx, it would have made it alot easier knowing so many people pulling for you. Stay well and welcome to this wonderful site........ Dan
Happy you found us but sorry you had to. Any questions you have will be answered by many survivors who are very knowledgeable and compassionate. Or if you are having a bad day feel free to vent, we have all been there.
Hi Chris,
Welcome to this site. You didn't say whether you have cancer or are a caregiver. But we welcome you no matter what. We are all like a big family here. My husband died in March of lung cancer and I started coming to this site in April and have found it very comforting.
Take care! "Carole"
Hey Chris, I also had a 7cm tumor in my upper right lobe, and I believe that surgery is the most important part of treatment. Your ER nurse was mean. Eeeniway, I'm now a long term survivor, 5.5 years post treatment, so hang in there.
I've been on CSN's site for a few years. I think the discussion boards are useful, but my favorite thing to do here is the chat room. Sometimes it is very, very busy. Sometimes there is no one there. It depends on the time of day mostly. I think it is a great place for both survivors and caregivers. Of course there are a lot of different things going on with cancer, for example various side effects of treatment. There are diverse viewpoints in the chat, but from my viewpoint it has always been friendly. Sometimes it is serious and often hilarious.
Finally, if you haven't already or maybe after you have been here for a little time you might want to post your "About Me Page". You can find this on the main page under the tab "My CSN Account".
Again welcome and I hope you find the site comforting and useful.
