I was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer on Sept 29, 2007. I had surgery and chose not to have chemo treatments 6 months later PET scan all clear then in Dec 2008 I had reaccurance in my ovary and had surgery Jan 20, 2009. Since then I am cancer free.

I was directed to this site shortly after my initial diaganoses in Oct 2007 and I have been visiting this site ever since, but have never joined (just check out the discussion board) So now I have decided to join so I can contribute but mostly because you are all so caring and supportive.

I havr learned so much from this board in the last few years and really want to thank each of you for the info and support you give each other.

Welcome to the board. It is always good to hear from someone who has been "lurking" and decided to join. I used to be a lurker, myself. Thanks for sharing your encouraging story too.
