Hey folks. I just have to share this story with you. I hope you find it funny.
On Saturday night I made dinner for Kim and me for the first time since surgery in April. (baked, fresh caught trout - roasted potatoes -salad) It took me forever to get it all ready, and it was about 8:30 before we started eating. I have an ileostomy; so I'm ever mindful about what and when I'm eating.
I said to KIm, "I'm breaking one of John23's rules. No food after 6:00."
Kim said, "John23 said no food after 6:00? Why would he say that?"
"It's just a good idea not to eat late so you won't have empty the bag so many times at night."
"Yeah, but why would John23 say that?"
It took me a minute to realize that Kim thought I was quoting John from the Bible, not John from the Board!! I almost fell off the chair.
I can hear it now, "To those who poopeth in a bag, verily I say unto you; eat not after 6:00."
John, you really could write the Bag Bible. Thanks for sharing all your ostomy knowledge.

Roger, i came here today reluctantly with fear i would find out that we lost Eric, and i see your post (they always make me smile), and instead, i'm rolling on the floor with a stabbing pain in my side from laughing so hard!
