Not really! Kind of boring, just getting back into the swing of things after vacation:(
Next week is the weding reception for my son who just got married in Jamaica, an lots of things at work to do! Argh!
@Brooks: no, not yet, my "parents" have left on Friday for the whole weekend and only going to get back on Monday sometimes...I'm picking up the mail/newspaper and take the trash out for Monday morning. LOL
But I will have fun today afternoon when I will bike over to my friend's house and we will go to the swimming pool...:) Did you do anything fun so far? :)
Sitting in hospital day and night with my love. Very sick - liver and small intestine obstructions. Said cannot do surgery for intestine - tried scope procedure Friday to unblock stent in liver bile duct - didn't work. Hope radiologist who placed the stent will try something tomorrow by going through his side. This is how they had to place the stent in but Fri said he couldn't go in that way again. Don't know what is going to happen - but he is very sick.
It is finally raining here so am dancing hoping to keep it going for a while. My poor flowers have been walking away in search of a drink.
I have been sewing stars on a flag afghan that my mother made. Not an easy chore, given that yarn stretches and there are 50 to do. I have a feeling I will have to go back and redo some, as a few look a bit on the tipsy side. But the work is worth is as when completed will go to one of my granddaughters...she asked for it...nice to know that the younger generation has some patriotic spirit.
Hope everyone out there manages to put a little fun in every day.
Lets see… Yesterday (Saturday) my wife and I went to some yard sales. My hobby is finding things at sales for and then reselling them on eBay and Craigslist. Found a 49cc mini bike that my kids rode around all day yesterday. Then last evening we went to a BBQ and had a blast and the kids swam almost the entire time. Cleaning house this morning then I’ll take the kids to go play Mini Golf when it cools off some and I think Pizza tonight!!
Sounds like you had my kind of weekend, Brooks! Went and saw The Other Guys movie! Totally a laugh a minute! Then we went to my nephew's water polo tournament, which was interesting. I had never watched waterpolo before! What an intense sport.
Loving to get to know all of you on the board. Even though I don't post, I do read and this board touches me and makes me think and has changed my life! God bless everyone survivors, family and friends! xo

Just got back from camping and had a great time. Got to sit by my campfire in 90 degree weather. Yup love the heat and humidity sitting right by my fire :) I know, my husband says I'm weird, but that's ok, I got a great personality LOL.
Yesterday afternoon my husband + I swam in the pool, had a lovely dinner, just the two of us, with a little white wine. Then we watched a great movie "A Single Man", with Colin Firth (one of my faves). With both "kids" out it was a date night!
Friday night, my husband was the performer at a coffee house - lots of friends came to hear him sing and play guitar and autoharp.
Saturday, a walk in a nature preserve along the original Erie canal. I found some monarch butterfly eggs - I LOVE raising butterflies. We also saw lots of Great Blue herons, turtles, ducks, frogs, flowers.
Saturday night, an outdoor concert - Philadelphia Orchestra with Andre Watts at the piano. Picnic on the lawn, lay back and listen to beautiful music.
Today - cleaning. I guess work has to get done sometime! But the good news is that I can do some of it, as my post-op limits are starting to be lifted.
I did summersaults..... on grass :) inside joke.... but you know what I'm talkin bout Brooks!!! Actually..... went fishing..... was catching catfish on lures.... ???go figure..... caught some nice Crappie and Bass.... Yummy!!
Boyfriend and I spend all weekends together as we are apart during the week (he lives about an hour and 10 minutes away). Yesterday was a lazy but nice day, simple and beautiful. Cooked good food at home, we went for a walk in the park late afternoon. We watched a movie at home--"The Crazies." Today, we went to "Grounds for Sculpture," a beautiful place that I've been meaning to visit for awhile, in Central Jersey. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with sculptures everywhere and a contemporary water garden.
It's always just wonderful to be with Boyfriend! And my (youngest) 20-year-old son was home much of the time so we all spent time together.

My daughter is 100 lbs and Guess jeans usually work...and Levi's. Do they have a Levi store at the outlets there? And there's always Marshall's and TJ Max. Ross also has a a lot of jeans, that's where I would by mine. But TJ Max on Cactus is great. As is Marshalls on Tatum - out by the 101 and Ross next to Albertsons on Tatum and Shea. I miss my stomping grounds in Scottsdale!! My "boyfriend's jeans" are also what is in this year.
Yep - celebrated my 46th birthday. Did a dinner with family and had a party at my house with friends.
Also bottled a mead (honey wine). I'm a home brew beer/wine/mead maker. I corked 30 bottles to be drank over the next 30 years on my birthday. I called it "FURC MEad" as in F*ck U Rectal Cancer!
Saturday my sister and our daughters went shopping in Gilroy at the outlets! Sunday, my husband and I took a drive up the coast, Hwy 1. It was a wonderful drive. I feel very relaxed.
We picked blueberries. It was the 3rd time we went this summer. We washed, dried and put them in the freezer. They probably will not last too long. We eat them in cereal and just by themselves. Yummy.
Went to a sports bar Saturday night and watched the first preseason Bucs game with my boyfriend . 3 seasons Spring, Summer and Football. And Sunday went to my best friends daughters wedding and had a great time. Laura

Yeah
Bill and I went to a Cruise In downtown. Lots of old cars lined up all over the streets. So cool! We also went out to eat that night (Friday).
Yesterday we went to our local farmers' market and shopped at a little quaint shop that my friend owns.
Church today and just hanging out afterwards.
All in all, a very relaxing weekend.
*hugs*
