I just completed 17 miles at the ACS 24-hour Relay For Life fundraiser in La Jolla, CA! One mile for every year of living with cancer. Cancer Survivors Fight Back!!! ;-) And, I'm currently in chemo for a recurrence - this week was my week off between treatments, lol. Annie

    I am proud of you
What an accomplishment. You should be proud of yourself. Don't know how you did 17 miles. I am glad to hear you are Fighting Back. Keep up the good work. Hope your treatment for your recurrence goes well. In peace and caring.

    You go Girl!!!
Wow that is simply amazing and bet you feel such an accomplishment when you completed the relay. Running or walking? You give us all encouragement to endure just what you completed.

    Best to you,

    Well I started out limiting
Well I started out limiting myself to walking so I could just keep on going. The last few miles were a run/walk combo as the end of the relay was closing in and I wanted to make my distance. Ran hard the last half lap, to the finish line -- with energy to spare! So next year I'll have to plan for better for 18 miles ;-) Annie

PS On top of that, just got my ca125 results from last week: Apr: 658, May 104, June: 31 !!!!

    Wonderful News on CA 125!
You're on a roll....keep it going!!! Some docs do and can follow this marker, assuming yours follows closely and shows accuracy? We follow mine as shows improvement from date of diagnosis to today - almost 1 year after last treatment.

    Happy for you,
    Jan
