5 years is the magical timeline
Congrats on the anniversary. 5 years has sometimes been noted as the timeline to proclaim a cure. Thanks for sharing your story of encouragement.

5 Years - the Golden Years:)
Seems like yesterday and yet a lifetime ago, right Kathi?

Congratulations on this milestone - this is the first really big one that carries some weight with it - 5 years with NO recurrence = the real definition of NED. You've got a new life and the old one is fading away as you look in your rear view mirror.

How marvelous that you were able to get up and "walk away" from all of it - yours is the kind of story that sets the bar high for the rest of us to walk under:)

I'm so happy for you - you have much to be thankful for - and we are thankful for you.

    ((Kathi))

    What

    Congratulations Kathi!

What stage colon cancer did you have?

I was dx with Stage IV last July and declared NED on April 6th, 2010. How did you get through the last 5 years without worrying about it coming back?
