I have posted this same message in the bladder cancer forum becuase I wasnt sure where would be the best placr for this but,I am a 27 year old male and I am really concerned about my health. I have been having strange urinary symptoms since December and I am affraid it might be cancer .I would like for some one to please look over my symptoms and tell me if these symptoms are chararistic of cancer. keep in mind that I have been
having digestive problems since september loss of appetite, nausea, abdominal pain, weight loss, bloating, blood in stool. I had a colonoscopy, berium x-ray of
my small intestines, and stomach x-ray. everything has came back clear so far, and back in September the Doctors found a small amount of blood in my urine,
but I never heard nothing else about it, then in December I started having a itching urethra and discharge I went to my Doctor he checked me for a UTI and
it came back normal. I also went to the ER a little over a week ago and once again no UTI so please keep in mind I have no infection , and one more thing I
would like to add before listing my symptoms I have notice that the part of my urethra that runs through my perineum has been sore and sensitive to the touch
for about a year and a half now. here is a list of my urinary symptoms.

always feel like I have to urinate when I dont need to even if I just went,

every morning when I wake up there is a white discharge coming out of my penis,

itching urethra with pain accasionally shooting through my perenium, its worse in the mornings

cloudy urine.

and I have noticed small white particles floating in my urine

Please some one look over this and tell me what you think. I am in no way looking for a diagnosis and have appointment with my doctor next week
I am just wanting to hear some opinons and discuss these issues intill I can make it to my appointment next week. thanks in advance for any reply's

    I honestly don't know about
I honestly don't know about kidney or bladder cancer- but what you are describing sounds like similar symptoms to a yeast infection or Trichomoniasis. Hopefully your doctor will give you tests (not sure what they are in men, but in women, it would be just swabs and examining under a microscope)- you mentioned testing already for a UTI- yeast and trich are different tests.

    Kidney cancer symptoms
I have had kidney cancer. I had no symptoms of cancer, until one morning I woke up in the worst pain in my life. It felt like some body kicked me in the nuts and the kidneys. I urinate blood and couldn’t stop dry haven,do to the pain.Dr. said it was kidney stones,so be careful on what Dr.s tell you.Because they are not right all the time.

    Even the Doctors are confused
My kidney Cancer was diagnosed only after I urinated red. The GP sent me to a Urologist and the Urologist sent me for a C_T Scan. The results showed this tumor on the end of my kidney that even I could see and understand on the xray. Unfortunately many people are not diagnosed with Kidney Cancer until after it spreads and many of those people have a shortened life span.
Now for what the doctors missed. I went to an Alergist with hives 3 years before my diagnosis. The cause was undetermined. I later read that this can be from kidney cancer. I had sharp pains in my leg when I drove for more than 30 minutes or so. My GP suggested I see an Orthopedist. I did not. These pains went away after my surgery. I guess I had some back pain but not severe enough to seek attention for it. It seems that everyone has different symtoms and many of the symtoms mask other ailments. There is no screening that I know of for Kidney Cancer other than the tumors are easily seen on pelvic and abdominal C_T scans especially those with and without a contrast solution. As a layman I do not have the answer to what are kidney cancer symtoms are, only my thoughts expressed here from my own experiences which are not necessarily the same symtoms other people with kidney cancer have.
I am now 7 and 1/2 years post surgery and I have no symtoms and all my follow up C_T Scans have been negative. This year my urologist has me scheduled for an ultrasound rather than a C_T scan.

    ultrasound
I had a ultrasound and the mass couldnt be seen, just my experience. They seen it on the ct scan and they had me do a ultrasound and they couldnt find it.Had two people come in to try to find it,they said a mass that big we should see it.They had no luck on the ultrasound. Ultrasound is cheaper and less Radiation, but it dont see very think.

    Sorry you're feeling so bad.
Sorry you're feeling so bad. You mention going to the ER and 'doctors' - have you seen a good urologist? Many of your symptoms sound like that's the place to start. You'll find people of all ages in a urologist office - children to the elderly - my urologist (who did my kidney cancer surgery) was great! He listened, examined me, did appropriate testing. The other possibility would be allergies. At any rate, I'll say a prayer that it's not cancer and that you can find someone who can figure out what's going on.
