    born in DC
    raised in northern Va for 40 years, moved to kansas city, mo in 2007 -- hope to head west to NM in the next couple years :)

    I was born and raised in Southern California - a small town just east of Pasadena until the family migrated to South Orange County and San Diego. My career then took me to various states to build movie theaters, shopping malls/centers, Vans Skateboard Parks, hotels, auto dealerships, and office buildings - Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia...oh, yeah...and lots of projects in California.

    Now, I'm hanging loose in the sunny Florida Keys (it was partly cloudy and 80 degrees today - and dreadfully humid) waiting for the economy to turn and support more new construction for me and my brethren.

    we're in north KC, by worlds of fun -- we had planned to move to liberty this fall, but then my hubby lost his job and got dx with cancer -- so that plan is on hold till next year

    Welcome to the board! Someone asked this same question on another thread several months ago, but it's always nice to do this again for those people who are new.

    I live in Fallbrook, California. Fallbrook is in north San Diego county, about 45 miles northeast of the city of San Diego. I've lived here for 7 yrs and lived in Oceanside, CA for the 11 years prior to that. I lived most of my life prior to getting married in 1991 in Orange Couty, California (Anaheim, home of Disneyland, where I worked dancing in the parade three Christmas seasons back when I was in high school). As a kid, I lived a year in Omaha, Nebrask and two years in Washington state. I do considerer myself a California though, even though I'm not a native. :)

    Very small town called Rigby. I'm only about 20 miles from where I grew up on the family ranch. I'm about 1.5 hours from West Yellowstone National park and about two hours from Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

    I was born in Florence Alabama but moved to Texas when I was one yr old. Frank was born in Brownwood Texas. We both grew up and lived until 1983 in a small town Waskom Texas which is 15 miles from Shreveport LA. In 1983 due to a transfer with Frank's job, we moved to Maryville TN, then in 1992 another transfer ...this time to Point Comfort Texas which is 125 miles from Houston. Then Frank retired in 2001 and back to Maryville Tennessee.

    I was born in Searcy, Arkansas 55 years ago, but moved around a lot. Judsonia, AR, North Little Rock, AR, Memphis, TN, Nashville, TN, Lake Village, AR, Searcy, AR, Ozark, AR, Warren, AR, Minot AFB, ND, Barksdale AFB, Bossier City, LA, Little Rock AFB, Jacksonville, AR, Mabelvale, AR and now living and dying in Little Rock, AR.
