Bump in the road

Just when you think everything is going great....
Planned to go back to work today - 1st day after three weeks. Did the usual urination thing after getting out of bed, and holy cow - red as cranberry juice. OK, so I know that can happen, so I drank a bunch of water to try to flush it out. After a while, went in the bathroom hoping to see pink, when, nothing came out. Nada. That got me very worried. After about an hour of pain (due to clot blockage I think), called my Dr at 9:00AM opening time. They said to come it. Every bump in the road was painful. Finally got there and the nurse cathetered & irrigated me - what a relief! So now after three weeks, I've got the ball & chain back for probably a few days. I have no idea why this happened - didn't do anything too strenuous (except walking). Very strange. I'm hoping everything will be back to normal in a couple days.

    Not sure but....
I am now almost 2 months past surgery and my doctor said no pump yet as penile and bladder damage could occur as we are not healed internally.Viagra is alright because no pulling pressure.

Please ask your doctor and see what he says and good luck in the future...

Also read your other post and saw you mentioned the pump...

So sorry to hear about this
So sorry to hear about this setback. When you said a bump in the road you meant it! I hope you get that catheter out soon.
    Cheers

    Funny you should mention
Funny you should mention that (not really funny) - I did do some pumping 24 hours before the bleeding but I would have thought I would have seen it right away, not 24 hours later. Still a mystery.
