Hi Buzzard,

We don't know each other, but I have seen your posts on the boards.

This morning I am sitting at work reading back over old threads, and I came across a post from a young girl "Sophie" who posted that her mother had passed away. She apparently is not from this country, and is alone in this world. Everyone who responded was very compassionate and caring - there are nothing but wonderful people here, but your responses to her knocked me over. The compassion and care - the kindness and generousity of your heart and spirit - jumped right off the screen at me! Thank you for a beautiful example of caring.

I just wanted to say may God bless you and heal you. You are obviously one special guy - and obviously your wife is very special also. It was so wonderful and heartwarming that you and your wife reached out to her the way you did. As a mom, the thought of a child alone in this world breaks my heart too. I pray she will be okay and will have what she needs, and will have someone in her life to lean on.

If she is in touch with you and there is some way I could contribute, please let me know. Again, may God bless you and yours for your kindness and compassion.

    That was sweet! I am feeling much better much, and see my onc for the first time tomorrow, since my long hospital stay, I missed everyone as well, I love the people on these boards, and you've been a great addition here as well! Hope you stick around with us!
