I wonder if anyone knows of any type of support group for the family of those who do not survive? There seems to be so much out there for survivors... what of those surviving loss?

Given your question, I assume you and your loved ones did not receive hospice services. Hospices provide bereavement services 13 months beyond the death of a family member. Even if you did not, many hospices provide community support groups. Hospice social workers are very informed and could steer you in the right direction or link you with services. Call a local hospice! Dr. B

If you will call the American Cancer Society's phone number 800-227-2345, the patient services representatives can look for support in your area. They are there for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
