Hi all just wanted to chime in on the "prep" conversation from couple days ago and say I just had colonoscopy (ALL CLEAR!!YEAH). I was just like others and not able to tolerate the phospha soda prep, never tried Go-Lytely. The last 2 times I have also prepped with the Miralax and have had excellent results w/0 the nasty taste or throwing up and they have just started selling it over the counter. It does not have a nasty taste at all, barely can tell it is in your drink. I use a 64oz bottle of orange
Gatorade and I bought 2 of the bottles of Miralax along with a clear liquid diet day before scope and soft diet 2 days before and have had no problems being "clean". Someone really needs to come up w/ a better solution since we do have to do these but till then I can tolerate the Miralax. Be well.

congrats Averi, It is always a good day when your doc can tell you your colon is clear. a few preps ago i mixed my go litley with unsweetened BooBerry koolaide. It did help me get the stuff down but after the first few sittings, i started to produce caribbean blue liquid. Yep it was still there the next morning for my scan. the doc got quite a kick out of it. She told me it was the first colon she had seen that reminded her she needed a vacation.

    Hello Averi,

Congratulations on the clean colon! You know what they say...a clean colon is a happy colon!

Great news about your test and thanks for the tip on the prep - my scans are coming up soon so I'll ask my doc about Miralax.
