Hi All. Just got back from the Onc and it was good news. My web page has the details on my cancer. So anyway, the good news. Liver tumor - for sure gone gone gone. Tumors in my abdomen - NED. last tumor was on my pelvis and the rediolisigst wrote that he was not willing to clasify it as a tumor now as it does not show resemblence. It has shrunk in size and is breaking apart so they are not sure it is / was a tumor. NED - not really but prety damn close. We do not know the reasons for the new pains i am was having (they are going away now) but for now, it is not due to growth.

I have many of you to thank for your suppport and prayers and a couple of you I owe you big time for carrying me when I was falling down. Man this is difficult to get through these scans. The relief is so intense.

I am going to take the summer off from chemo to let the old hands and feet repair. Meanwhile I am keeping up with the Rife sound thera;y and still taking the Transfer Factor I had made when I was down in Mexico.

Going out for a glass of sommething goooood and a nice dinner with my very relieved partner.
Mark.

    Mark darling,

Thank you so much for your phone call. I am so happy for you and LOVE your attitude Dude.

I am giddy with your wonderful results!!!!! Keep on keeping on and I hope you have a great summer on the lake. AND keep teaching your docs on how awesome some of the alternative treatments can help us all. Someday they will learn that there are many ways to fight the **** cells other then surgery, radiation, and chemo. There are ways we can compliment the old fashioned approaches.

I hope you celebrated and had a grand evening!!!!!! You so deserve it.

See you in Nastyville and can't wait to get that first hug.

That's fantastic news, Mark. Congratuations! Hope you had a wonderful evening of celebration.

I was interested in what you said about giving your hands and feet a rest. After my third cycle of Folfox my hands have erupted in little blisters. Are your symptoms similar? I have read that 5-FU sometimes causes "hand and foot syndrome" but don't remember reading about it on this board.

Here's to a great chemo-free summer! May it be long and sunny!

Catherine, be sure to tell your onc about your hands. She may have a solution for you. Mine got very dry and felt as though the skin would spilt. Onc suggested Eucerin lotion which I still use because I just like it so well. Your problem sounds like an allergy to something. Hope it clears up. Another suggestion is to put this question out in the subject window so that everyone sees it.

    Hi Catherine,

I think Spongebob used a certain over the counter cream from Mary Kay that helped this. Try him or USKat (sp?) to see if they know the name. Also tell your once to see if they have a cream they recommend or even the onc nurse.

CONGRATS!!! Celebrate! It is always nice to hear such news.

PS. What is Rife (or Royal Rife) therapy? Love to add things to my knowledge because you never know when you might use them.
