Averi, I was Stage IIB with no lymph nodes involved and no metasteses. I had the surgery last July and did five out of 12 rounds of Folfox 6 before quitting. Although the doctors considered me "in remission" since surgery, the CT scan six months out makes it more "official."AveriRN said:congrats on the NED! I was wondering how long remission has been for u? and if u were on any type of maintenance medication i.e. Avastin, or something like that? Your story sounds similar to mine and I was just curious.
Sincerely,

A healthier New Year... does that mean I have to exercise?! LOL!!! OK, OK, just kidding. I know exercise helps keep the beast away. I'm working on it. Sorry to hear your mom's surgery has been postponed. Mama has a good guard dog in you, Valerie. You go girl.valeriec said:Congradulations Patrusha-

CONGRATULATIONS! You and I have been neck and neck through this whole thing - surgery, chemo and NED at the same time. I was just restaged NED last Friday. Isn't it great? Wishing you a healthly and happy 2007. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers, Sister.
