This evening I found out my friend lost her battle with colon cancer. She was diagnosed in Oct 2005 with colon cancer that had spread to the liver. (Her and my father were diagnosed two months apart with CC liver mets.) She was on and off several chemos since then and never did they find one that helped. She then tried the alternative route...macrobiotic diet...vitamin C infusion....supplements...then she went to a clinic in Arizona called Envita two months ago to try aggressive alternative treatments. After about a month being there her scan showed more cancer spread to her back and lungs. She then became very weak and started having a lot of pain. Then went into hospice right after Thanksgiving and was there until today when she passed this afternoon with all her family by her side.
I am still in shock ...it's hard to believe...two months ago when I last spoke to her she said she never felt better and she was so excited to go to Envita. Even when she was in hospice she planned on regaining her strenth and finishing her envita treatment. She was a fighter.
Please pray for her and her family,
Thanks,
Sue
