Does anyone have experience with this product? Apparently it as it's origins in China, and it's english name is Barbary Wolfberry Fruit, or Fructus lycii. Research indicates that it is esp. beneficial to the liver and the kidney. See

Bud:
I grew up in China where Goji seemed to be everywhere, soaked in tonics, wine, used in cooking etc. Chinese medicine is often vague on the description, so I was never very clear on what it's for. It's bright red little berry so I would assume there's some antioxidating functions. I checked the Sloan Kettering herb site but there was no reference to it. Not much documentation on this thing at all.

I'm waiting for the number of some Doctor to call about this juice from the lady who sells it here locally..just want to know if there are detox effects on the liver or not before my husband takes is since with mets to liver and chemo- the goal is to have the liver toxic to kill the beastly cancer cells..so a detox effect would not be good...will let you know if I find out anything\
