How many body scans after surgery. Anybody know?

    it usually depends on the doctor. i had a body scan before the treatment than after the treatment. i am hitting my one year mark and have to do it all over again. so i couldn't tell you.

    My surgery was in May, 2005. I just had a body scan three weeks ago. I will have another scan in October and then a year from now. I was told by my endocrinologist that after 3 negative scans, he would say that I was in remission.
