My boyfriend recently went to the emergency room because he could no longer take the pain which he thought was acid reflux...they set him up for an endoscopy....he had the endoscopy done and then they called him 2 days later and told him to immediatly pick up the prescription they called in for him to treat hplorie (sp?)...which my understanding is a bacteria that may cause stomach cancer....he took the meds...went back for a check up and the docter then said he wants to do a uab test on him and that it may be cancer...the dr. did not say anything else about it being acid reflux or ulcers...does this make since to anyone...please help i would really like to know what is going on. he goes on tues. to have the UAB test done.
