Hi Tracey,
I am also a blood cancer survivor that recieved high doses of radiation. I was 21 at diagnosis and treatment. I am now 31 and have been in remission for almost 9 years. Since then I have had surgeries to implant and remove Medi-Ports. Now... my chest consists of more muscle than a woman's, but... since its in the same area you are concerned with... I wanted to say that I had no problems with the surgery or healing. I would talk to your surgeon about this concern. By the way.. how are you doing since your Hodg? Are you still experiencing any long term side effects from radiation? I had leukemia. Good luck and God bless.
